My name is Fadwa Nahas, during the fall of 2015; I had just turned 40 and was at the top of my career. However, I suddenly found myself getting very tired and exhausted every weekend. I could not help my family. Once while working out, I was dizzy and fainted from there was immediately taken to emergency room, the doctors thought I had a heart attack. But after undergoing few tests it showed no heart problems, so I went back to my regular work.  Then I consulted a neurologist, who asked me to get an MRI. The next day, I was called to meet the surgeon as soon as possible. I called up Amal and stated, "I don't know what's happening, but I do not think it is good." it wasn't -- I had a malignant tumor positioned deep in my brain.

The first surgeon who I consulted wanted to operate me the very next day, and I had only three years to live, and could not assure good quality of life. We said good-bye to him, started doing research on our own. After I received my diagnosis, me and my husband began searching neurosurgeons online to determine where I should get treated. I looked everywhere for a probable treatment, there we found about neurosurgeons in India are very skilled to handle the most complex cases, and to make the process easy we thought of getting in touch with some medical facilitator who can assist us to choose the best that is what brought us to Indian med guru consultant, finally after speaking to a case manager of the company, we ultimately decided to undergo the brain tumour surgery at best hospital in India for meningioma treatment.

During my appointment, with the best neurosurgeon in India, after reading several online reviews my doubts were allayed and I was confident I was in good hands. I feel grateful to him today. My neurosurgeon was a highly-skilled surgeon and put me at ease before the surgery. The scans revealed that the meningioma was attached to the main vessels that allow blood to flow and return to the body. My neurosurgeon wanted to wait for few days to carry out surgical procedure; in the meantime, I got a secondary MRI which will correctly localize the meningioma on the time of surgical operation. The surgery went as planned, and the tumour was removed successfully. I was kept under observation for the next few days following surgery. After closely monitoring my brain swelling improvements, I was discharged the following week.

After being discharged, I was filled with a sense of overwhelming ease; I knew that I was going to be alright now. Thankfully as my neurosurgeon had anticipated, the tumour was a benign meningioma, and thus had not spread to other parts of my brain. During the weeks after surgery, I took a lot of rest and gradually got back to my old self again. I thought after the surgery I might feel weak, but that was not the case. The headache was gone and within a week all the other symptoms have also dissipated. It has been great. The expertise of the neurosurgeon along with the clinical infrastructure and patient care facility at the hospital has been commendable. After a week of my hospital stay, I am still in contact them for further check-ups are required. The doctor said that I would be ultimately fit to fly back home within 2 weeks. Now back in Kuwait, I would like to say a big thank you to Indian med guru consultant they made it everything possible. I got a new lease on life, and it’s all because of the company’s assistance so a huge thank you.”

Thanking you,
Fadwa Nahas
